Board and District Goals:

Goal 1:  Our objective is to accelerate the growth of our in-district Pre-K program by extending its reach to include Wantage Elementary School. This strategic expansion not only supports our commitment to early childhood education but also ensures greater accessibility for families within our district. By bringing Pre-K classrooms to Wantage Elementary, we aim to provide a strong educational foundation for more young learners, foster school readiness, and promote long-term academic success from the earliest stages of their educational journey.

Goal 2:  Another key district goal is to build upon our previous mindfulness and school climate initiatives. By deepening our commitment to social-emotional learning, we aim to expand our supportive, inclusive, and respectful environment for all students. This includes integrating mindfulness practices into daily routines, providing professional development for staff, and fostering positive relationships within our school communities. Through these efforts, we strive to proactively address the root causes of negative behaviors and cultivate a culture where every student feels safe, valued, and empowered to thrive.
