SCHOOL COUNSELORS
Each school in the Sussex-Wantage Regional District has its own School Counselor. Our counselors assist students and their families in a variety of ways to help them succeed academically, socially, and emotionally in school. They provide resources to teachers and families and counsel students individually and in group settings. Our School Counselors serve as the facilitators of the Intervention and Referral Services Team. They are also Anti-Bullying Specialists who investigate HIB reports and lead character education programs in the schools. If your child experiences difficulty in school or is dealing with social-emotional issues for which you need assistance, please contact the counselor in your child's school.
