CHILD FIND

The Sussex-Wantage Regional School District offers a Free and Appropriate Education to all students ages 3 through 21 found eligible for Special Education and Related Services through an evaluative process conducted by the district's Child Study Teams.

If you have concerns that your school age child is exhibiting significant physical, sensory, emotional, communication, cognitive or social/emotional difficulties that are impacting on his or her ability to progress satisfactorily in the general education curriculum, please contact your child's classroom teacher or guidance counselor.

If you have concerns regarding the age-appropriate development of your preschool child (ages 3-5) please contact the Clifton E. Lawrence Child Study Team.

Children from birth to age 3 who are thought to have a delay in any area of their development may receive assistance from the Early Intervention Program.  To access this service, parents should contact Special Child Health Services  at 1-800-322-8174.
