LETTER TO PARENTS FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Dear Parents\Guardians:

Please allow me to officially introduce myself. My name is Michael Gall and I am honored to be serving as the Principal of Wantage School. It is a privilege to follow in the footsteps of lifelong educator, Sharon Hosking. She has done a remarkable job leading our school. I am also grateful to be working with a veteran faculty and staff who have devoted their lives to preparing students for success in life and in school.  

The more time that I spend here, the more that I am impressed with professionalism of the faculty and staff, the level of family and community engagement, the enthusiasm of students, and the quality of programs that are available to the students we serve. It is obvious that this is a high performing school where the students are our top priority. I am committed to building a partnership with you to continue to enhance student achievement while fostering a positive school culture. I believe that it is this commitment to continuous improvement and teamwork that will continue to make a difference in the lives of our students.

I hope that you are enjoying the summer, and will have the opportunity to rejuvenate for the 2009-2010 school year. I look forward to meeting many of you in September, and seeing those of you again with whom I have had the pleasure of becoming acquainted. I will be here throughout the summer and my door is always open. With your support and partnership we will continue to foster a culture that is focused on the academic, emotional, psychological, and physical well being of our students.
